The Infinity Killer is a mysterious one, even for me, but we've learned a few things so far. One, we know that he leaves an 8 or an infinity symbol at his murder scenes. Two, it appears that he's playing with us, intentionally leaving specific clues behind (some of these seem to be contextual to the number 8). Three, in this most recent murder, he left cuts on the victim's fingers - we're still trying to determine what these mean. And four, we believe two other murders around the country are linked to him. We'll update you with any new information.
Police found Matthiew Clarke on 343 4th Street in the Gaslamp district of San Diego, during the Comic-Con convention. His body - which has since been removed - was discovered in an old dentist chair with an eight-panel mirror structure set up around it. The killer also installed medical lights in on the scene. The victim, Matthiew, was bound to the chair by duct tape, and the movement of his fingers was restricted by an elaborate system of screws. His face had been mutilated, and his fingertips were cut off, making it impossible for police to identify him at the time of discovery. We have since, however, learned of his identity, and discovered that Matthiew was in fact suspected in multiple cases of fraud and identity theft.
